Our History

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship began on Dec 15, 2002 with 11 members meeting in the home of Steve & Rose Hocker.

The first pastors were Darrell and Susan Lawrence who were appointed in January 2003.

We leased our first building from the Meadow wood Methodist Church for a Saturday & Tuesday night service in May 2003.

Over the next two years, NBCF saw many core ministries established, accompanied by steady overall growth.

In August 2005 the church leased its own facility, in a shopping center at Mexico & Buckley in Aurora.

In the summer of 2012 Pastor Lawrence retired and left the church in the capable hands of Pastors Fred & Vickie Chagolla.

In a decision to better utilize the churches resources, a move was made in the fall of 2012 to the Summit Event Center, where we continued for two years.

The Lord opened a new door for New Beginnings in 2014, and a move was made to the Hancock Park building in Aurora, where we are currently gather.

Since that move, we now have classes for Children’s Church, Bible Studies for men and women, prayer night, all in which we did not have access in the Summit Event Center. Many lives are being changed and people are set free!

To God be all the Glory!
